"In obeying the imperative to override the
axiomatic contempt for the familiar that has
become second nature, Hashimoto's
self-released MONZEN II CDR homesteads in a
wank-free middle ground both ignored by antiseptic,
overqualified pyros and beyond the reach of
toxic, entry-level mouth-breathers. The fertile
mulch helix of ripened improv by Frank Binke
(double-bass, nitrogen), Ronald Schmidt (guitar,
phosphate) and Ronny Trocker (tools, potash)
wastes no cubics on the usual antinoise bias.
Hashimoto's space is dense with curdle.
Trespassers will be violated."
